"Antares - it is competition model for
GPS triangle flying. I won with it some competitions. Basic info is bellow.
This model has similar quality of manufacturing as model Cyril.

Basic offer for model Antares:
We developed this model with utilization of flying and building experience
with top F3B models. Our firm produce F3B model Ceres. All moulds are made
by our CNC machine so all dimensions, specially the wing airfoil was exact
kept.
After get up the rules of GPS triangle category and introduce with tactic of
flying I decided use similar aerodynamic of wing as on F3B models. It
brought several of technical problems, the middle thickness of airfoil is 9%
and is very difficult make the wing enough stiff. We had to use carbon to
all part of model to obtain flying weight 12kg and enough stiffest. Instead
of colour, the 99% of wing´s weight is carbon composite 1% is sandwich foam.
Also for produce wing spar we use CNC technology.

I won with this model my first triangle competition in Krnov. In Müswangen I
finished on second place with very tight result. Petr Nemec won last
competition in Arbon with Antares.

We make this model in two versions: double carbon and HM (high modular)
double carbon. Both is be enough stiff for GPS triangle competitions. HM
version is be more stiff in torsion. I flown Krnov and Muswangen competition
with classic double carbon version without problem and made speed over
200km/hour. Ofcourse it is still scale model and not plane for dynamic
soaring. Used airfoil makes similar dynamic of flight as with F3B models,
but 6,6m wingspan not give possibility produce model for no limit speed.
Maybe with new nanotechnology in future :-)

The price include: all designs made inside mould (imatriculation and etc.),
to fuselage too. Assembly of RDS in wings. Not include servos.
Complete finished model - retract wheel, holders of ballast, set of ballast,
complete servo frames, cables, cover bags and etc.. Cockpit finished as
is standard in this category. Price for Antares double carbon is 3700euro,
HM double carbon 4400euro."
